Empuriabrava was built in 1968. In this year one businessman built the canals which were inspired from Miami Florida. Before Empuriabrava were only wetlands and farms.
The first hotel to be built was the Valmar, and this hotel was built by my grandparents. After this type of businesses was built Club’s Nautic, with the intencion of be a casino they symbol of Empuriabrava. My father rented the bar restaurant from the Club Nautic and he named it “Boat Love” and he worked in for five years until he bought a new restaurant in front of the beach.
He worked in the restaurant with my mother 27 years ago name of that restaurant was “El Bruel”. After, my parents left the restaurant and now it is rent.
Now my parents work in the summer in the “Chiringuito Bocana” in front of the Empuriabrava beach. In the summer I work in the “chiringuito” as a waiter. I like this work but depends on the days because there are clients which are a nuisance.
This work is very funny because everyday you do different things and meet different people.
Wow, sònia, I didn't know they wanted to built a casino in Club Nàutic! I knew they wanted Empuriabrava to be a luxury place... but they didn't get that!

ResponderEliminarFor me empuriabrava is a village very beautiful because it have a beach, canals in village, aiguamolls... Also Empuriabrava is a "company" of eCastelló d'Empúries because Empuriabrava recives a lot of foreign in summer.
